Welcome to the Tribe : Hugo Burvall

We are extremely proud to welcome one of the most talented and creative skiers to The Tribe: Hugo Burvall. This Swedish freeskier is known for his unique style and amazing musical creations. We are already looking forward to creating projects together for the next season.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself ?

My name is Hugo Burvall, I’m 25 years old and live in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m a freeskier who competes and create ski movies. Besides skiing I work as a music producer.

When did you start skiing and why did you choose freestyle ?

I Started skiing around when I was six. I immediately just though that it looked so cool. Then I tried it and feel in love with the whole lifestyle and especially the creative aspect.

What is the best memory of your career?

Going to the Olympics. Getting 3rd in the big air total (world cup)

Apart from skiing, what are your passions?

Music, skateboarding, Fashion, being outdoors

If you were not a skier, what would you be? And why?

Working in the music industry

What is the strongest lesson that skiing has taught you?

That you have to work really hard to achieve your goals but nothing is impossible

What is your favourite movement (tricks)?

Cork 360

What’s your plan for the coming season ?

Doing the whole world cup circuit including world champs and film in-between

What are you most excited about joining the Movement Tribe and what does it mean to you ?

Building a long lasting relationship, getting to ride and develop sick gear doing some creative projects together!
